"Dream Halls is a pure combo deck built around its namesake enchantment, which lets both players cast spells by discarding a matching-color card instead of paying mana. Deck Weaknesses

All — in enchantment dependency - the entire combo lives and dies on Dream Halls with no meaningful backup win condition, so a single piece of enchantment removal at the right moment collapses the whole game plan.
Hand — size-gated engine - Dream Halls charges a discarded blue card per spell cast for free, so a hand depleted by early interaction or discard pressure chokes the chain off even after the enchantment has resolved.
No interactive early game — the deck spends its opening turns on cantrips and setup like Frantic Search, Lotus Petal, and Show and Tell rather than disruption, so a fast aggressive clock can deal lethal damage before Dream Halls ever lands.
Single — threat kill - Brain Freeze is the only realistic finisher and the deck often must dig to it through Cunning Wish, so permission or hand disruption that strips it leaves the engine running with nowhere to go.

How to win with it

Mulligan aggressively toward an opener that can deploy Dream Halls early: keep hands with either Show and Tell or a Lotus Petal plus blue mana, at least one spare colored spell to discard when Dream Halls resolves, and ideally a Frantic Search, Sleight of Hand, or Meditate to start chaining; ship hands with no path to Dream Halls and no early card selection.
The dream line is Lotus Petal into Show and Tell to slam Dream Halls into play, then pay for spells by discarding blue cards instead of mana: discard Opportunity for four cards, discard Meditate for four more, and keep casting cheap spells to pump the storm count before finishing with Brain Freeze, which mills the opponent's whole library at a high storm count to deck them out.
When you cannot assemble the Show and Tell line, grind: cast Sleight of Hand, Frantic Search, and Accumulated Knowledge to dig toward Dream Halls or your Intuition package, banking spare colored spells in hand so that when Dream Halls finally resolves you have enough discard fodder to chain Opportunity, Meditate, and Rush of Knowledge into one lethal Brain Freeze turn.
Hold Arcane Denial and Cunning Wish rather than spending them early: keep Arcane Denial in hand to protect the Dream Halls resolution and the combo turn, and save Cunning Wish to fetch a Brain Freeze or extra draw spell at instant speed once Dream Halls is already live, since under Dream Halls you can cast the wished card by discarding a blue card.
On the combo turn, sequence draw and cheap spells before Brain Freeze so every cast raises the storm count and Brain Freeze mills as deep as possible; remember Meditate makes you skip your next turn, so only cast it when you intend to win that same turn, and pitch lands rather than spells as discard fodder since lands cannot be cast through Dream Halls.
With Intuition, the strongest pile is Dream Halls plus two payoff draw spells like Opportunity and Meditate, forcing the opponent to hand you the engine or the fuel; a pile of three Accumulated Knowledge is the backup, letting one resolution draw three cards to dig straight to your missing combo piece while building storm for Brain Freeze.

How to beat it

Dream Halls is the single enabler the entire engine depends on; without it the deck cannot chain Opportunity, Meditate, or Rush of Knowledge for free and has no backup plan. Enchantment removal that answers a resolved permanent dismantles the whole game plan the moment Dream Halls lands, before the draw chain begins.
Show and Tell is the fastest route to Dream Halls, often putting it down before the deck could ever hard-cast it. Establish a threat and a fast clock early so that resolution buys them little, and if you hold permission, Show and Tell resolving is the critical counter target.
Brain Freeze is the only realistic kill and the deck has almost no way to win without reaching it. Racing to a fast goldfish win before the Meditate and Opportunity chain assembles forces them to find Dream Halls and storm up a lethal Brain Freeze under the clock rather than at leisure.
Dream Halls makes the deck pay for non-blue spells by discarding blue cards, so its chain length is capped by how full their hand is. Pressure that demands answers and empties their hand early starves the engine of fuel even after Dream Halls has resolved.
Intuition is the tutor that assembles the missing piece, whether Dream Halls itself or a Cunning Wish; countering it with permission leaves the deck unable to find its sequence on demand in games where the natural draw has not delivered it.
