Game Plan

Oath Devourer is a slow-burn artifact prison deck that wins by dismantling the opponent's ability to act rather than deploying threats of its own. Mox Diamond and Jeweled Amulet accelerate the mana so Ensnaring Bridge lands on turn two or three, shutting the opponent out of combat before they develop a board. Enlightened Tutor and Tinker fetch whichever piece the position demands: Bridge to seal off attacks, Wand of Denial to top-lock the draw step, or Zur's Weirding to police every card drawn. Under Weirding, any player may pay 2 life to deny a draw, so the deck pairs it with Words of Worship to maintain a life buffer that funds continuous denials. Gustha's Scepter exiles cards out of hand to enable Bridge's zero-hand-size clause while preserving them for later retrieval, tightening the lock without surrendering card advantage. Grafted Skullcap accelerates hand reduction once the position stabilizes.

With Bridge active and the draw step neutralized, Cursed Scroll closes the game: the emptier the hand, the more reliably it names the right card and deals two damage per activation. Swords to Plowshares removes any creature that slips through before the lock is assembled, while Seal of Cleansing answers permanents threatening the artifact and enchantment infrastructure. Soldevi Digger recycles graveyard cards to the bottom of the library for long-game resilience, and Feldon's Cane provides a one-shot full shuffle when resources run thin. The deck rarely races but almost never runs out of resources, suffocating opponents one denied draw at a time.
