Enchantment — anchored engine - both Zombie Infestation and Survival of the Fittest must sit in play to generate tokens or chain tutors, so a single answer to either collapses the primary plan, with no creature outlet to fall back on.
Graveyard dependency — Squee, Goblin Nabob and Krovikan Horror are the fuel source, not just value; without a live graveyard their loop stops and every discard outlet becomes a finite resource that depletes quickly.
Fragile mana base — Birds of Paradise is the lone accelerant while Survival of the Fittest, Arrogant Wurm, and Basking Rootwalla all demand consistent early green, so losing the mana creature in the first turn or two puts the whole curve behind.
Slow assembly under pressure — the deck needs several pieces online (a discard outlet, recyclable creatures, and a full hand) before the engine is unstoppable, so being forced to spend Cabal Therapy and removal as blockers rather than as setup chokes the sequencing window before it opens.

How to win with it

Mulligan any hand that cannot both make tokens and feed them: a keeper wants two lands, at least one of Zombie Infestation, Wild Mongrel, or Survival of the Fittest, and a recurring discard outlet or pitchable card such as Squee Goblin Nabob. Pure threats with nothing to discard is a brick that never turns on Zombie Infestation.
The dream draw is turn-one Birds of Paradise into turn-two Zombie Infestation, then a turn-three Wild Mongrel you feed and attack with while Zombie Infestation banks tokens: remember Zombie Infestation eats TWO cards per 2/2, so pair Squee Goblin Nabob with a second discard each turn, since Squee Goblin Nabob comes back to your hand every upkeep, making it the cheapest half of that two-card cost.
Hold Basking Rootwalla and Arrogant Wurm in hand rather than casting them for mana: discard them to Wild Mongrel or Zombie Infestation to trigger Madness, getting Basking Rootwalla for free and Arrogant Wurm for its cheap Madness cost while that same discard also pumps Wild Mongrel or builds toward a Zombie token; casting them normally wastes the engine and starves your token fuel.
Survival of the Fittest is your tutor engine: fetch Squee Goblin Nabob first as repeatable discard fodder, then Krovikan Horror, which returns itself from the graveyard to your hand every time you discard a creature card so it becomes an infinitely re-pitchable card, then grab Bone Shredder, Uktabi Orangutan, or Monk Realist as the board demands.
Use Cabal Therapy as both disruption and a discard trigger: cast it naming yourself to dump a Madness creature or a creature card for Krovikan Horror, or strip the opponent and then flashback it by sacrificing a spare Zombie token, but never sacrifice a creature you intend to return with Genesis, and lean on Duress when you simply need to clear a specific answer before committing your engine.
Grind with Genesis and Krovikan Horror once the race slows: Genesis returns Bone Shredder, Uktabi Orangutan, Monk Realist, or Squee Goblin Nabob to hand each upkeep to refill your discard fuel, while Krovikan Horror keeps flowing back from the graveyard, letting you spend two cards into a fresh 2/2 Zombie token every turn until the opponent runs out of answers.

How to beat it

Disrupt the engine before it assembles: Zombie Infestation does nothing without a hand full of cards to pitch, so taxing effects, hand disruption, or permission that fires before Survival of the Fittest resolves can starve the whole machine rather than just delay it.
Attack the discard outlets directly: Wild Mongrel and Zombie Infestation are the two ways this deck converts cards into pressure, so removal or enchantment destruction aimed at them forces Basking Rootwalla and Arrogant Wurm to arrive the expensive way instead of cheaply via Madness.
Answer the recursion permanently: Squee, Goblin Nabob and Krovikan Horror are the engine's renewable fuel, recycling from the graveyard turn after turn, so exile-based removal or an edict effect that forces them to be sacrificed cuts the card loop that makes each Zombie Infestation activation effectively free.
Race wider than a single sweeper can answer, then punish the lull: the offense is a stream of individual 2/2 zombie tokens, so a board sweeper landed when several tokens are committed blanks multiple turns of investment at once and resets the clock.
Apply graveyard hate early and keep it active: Survival of the Fittest, Genesis, and the Squee-Krovikan Horror loop all treat the graveyard as a resource zone, so an effect that exiles creatures from graveyards or stops them returning dismantles the recursion backbone the entire midgame is built on.
