The full card pool opens up
No commons-only restriction. Your strategy gets its best-in-class tools - Crystalline Sliver, Psychatog, Cursed Scroll, Swords to Plowshares - instead of the closest common.
Mechanics you know get stronger
Cycling (Lightning Rift, Astral Slide), madness (Wild Mongrel), and artifact synergy (Goblin Welder) all carry over and scale up. The learning curve is gentle.
Combo gets more explosive
Familiars loops become Aluren; infinite-life engines become en-Kor combos. The same gears, more horsepower.
